Okay, I appologize I haven't written another blog about Ireland. Honestly, I'm a little shocked that we are already half way through month 2. Time is flying by. But at the same time, I feel like I've spent so much time in each place. Like time speeds up and slows down all at once, and you just don't know what's going on because of it.
Ireland was amazing!! We had the opportunity to walk around a lot of the area in and around Greystones and Dublin, passing out tracts and talking with the people. We also were blessed to be able to spend time with a few families of Travelers (Irish Gypsies) and share the gospel with them. My heart definitely fell in love with the people we came in contact with, and it was a little sad leaving.
It's a little crazy to think that just 2 weeks ago I was living in a house with 20 other people, sharing 1 shower, hanging laundry in every available space in the garage because it always rained on laundry day, eating more potatoes and bread then I could ever hope for, and now I'm 1,500 miles away in Rivne, Ukraine.
My team is alone this month. We've been blessed with even more wonderful people. The people of Ukraine in general are very welcoming and hospitable. The country is beautiful. The food is delicious, even though we don't always know what it is (and I try not to ask). It's starting to really feel different from the U.S. I feel so blessed for what God has already done this month, and I'm so excited for what's to come. But, more on that later.
For now, here's a recap video my teammate Kelly made of our time in Ireland. It's long, but worth it. Enjoy!!
