We are half way through month 2.

ECUADOR

So here are just some little tidbits about this month so far.

-We are living with our whole squad in a part of Quito called Carcelen. We are staying at IncaLink/CasaBlanca.
It is great to be with the whole squad and get to know more of them better.
The people that run IncaLink are incredible. They are all so friendly and the Lord shines through them in so many ways.

-Our ministry this month is at a place called EcuaSol.
It is a before and after school program that helps children with their homework, they get a hot meal and they get so much love from the volunteers + my team.
We travel an hour and a half to get there every day. We take 2 buses and sometimes a truck ride up the mountain. It’s exhausting, but so worth it.

-Ecuador has some great places to explore.
Adventure days definitely fulfill their name.
Yesterday we went to a town 2 hours away called Mindo. Ziplining, hiking, waterfalls, chocolate factory and amazing pizza pretty much summarizes our day.
Nature never ceases to amaze me. God did some incredible work.

-Ecuador is more than likely going to be one of my favorite places.
(we still have 9 1/2 months, but this weather and scenery are amazing)
The elevation, although it makes for great pictures, is not so friendly to the lungs. Ecuador is taking our breath away in so many ways.

*Pictures to come soon!

Love and miss all my people back on the homefront!
Thank you all for your continued prayers.
