Santa Maria, here we come! Tomorrow, my team (Team Salt) and Team Y.E.T.I. will be taking a two and a half hour trek to the village of Santa Maria. This is where we will be ministering for the next three weeks. We don’t know much about the area. All we know is that the area is predominantly Catholic, is beautiful, and has a river running through it. The people speak a mix of Spanish and Chole (sp?). I think it is exciting entering to a place that we don’t know much about. It brings a sense of adventure and makes us truly allow God to direct us. The plan is that the media team will gather our articles and post them for us while we are in the village. So, hopefully you will hear from me again this week, but if not, we will be in town again on Monday so I will post a blog then. Please continue to keep both of our teams in your prayers.

Some specific things you can pray for are:

– Physical safety/health

– Spiritual health

– Lost souls and softened hearts

– Divine appointments

– Healings

– Rest

– People of Santa Maria

Thank you so much for your investment in us and your prayers! This could not be done without all of you!

This is me right now as I just wrote this blog.  I am sitting in a very cute little cafe called Cafe De Yara.  I spoiled myself today with a plate of fruit, yogurt, and granola and a Carmel Frappuchino.  Yum, yum, yum!

I am trying to upload more pictures so be sure to check out my photos by clicking the link on the left.  If you want to see some good pics go to http://ryanstewart.theworldrace.org
