Training camp prepped us for going with the flow and expecting changes. Long story short, a major change has already taken place. Due to various reasons, the route has CHANGED. We are going to the SAME countries but in a DIFFERENT order. Personally, I can dig it because either way, were still traveling the world right?
Here is the new schedule:
July: Honduras (the entire G squad is spending the month together)
August: Guatemala
September: Nicaragua
October: Bulgaria
November: Romania
December: Malaysia
January:: Thailand
February: Cambodia
March: Kenya
April: Rwanda
May: Uganda
Let me give you a sneak peak into the craziness that has already consumed our lives:
Traveling to Honduras is not a simple matter of getting on a plane. As of midnight, we rode on a very chilly but spacious charter bus to NYC (5 hours). We are now chillin in the airport (great people watching) for 3 hours. We will take a 5 hour flight to Costa Rica at 9 am then a very long bus ride to Nicaragua where we will crash in a hostel for the evening. We will then ride in a bus the remainder of the way, arriving in Honduras on Saturday. This is now my life. Pray for protection and patience as we travel over bumpy roads and our B.O begins to consume the air as our travel vehicles slowly become less "convenient."
