I HAVE…

Welcome to the Philippines!

Months one and two were spent in Westernized countries. We had “white fellas” all around us, lights, hot water showers, English, toilet paper, clean water, etc. Month three, however, we have entered a whole new world for some of us. Now that I am in Asia I have been looking back over the past two months. Thinking about the experiences I have had; the memories that I will keep with me forever. So here it is; my review of my first two months on the World Race.

New Zealand

1.       I have danced with 5 different cultures at once.

2.       I have shared a breathe with the Maori people.

3.       I have held a crying baby

4.       I have run carefree with a little child

5.       I have witnessed many people pray to God each their own language all at once

6.       I have been blessed by a meal from brothers and sisters in Christ whom I did not know.

7.       I have taught in a children’s Sunday school class.

8.       I have spoken in a Southern accent

9.       I have made up over 100 beds.

10.   I I have driven on the opposite side of the road

11.   I I have been romanced and drawn in by the Lord…thirsting more and more

12.   I I have felt the breeze

13.   I I have been able to experience the beauty of the country that the Creator designed

14.   I I have fallen in love with New Zealand

15.   I I have cried

16.   I I have been blessed

17.   I I have seen God

18.   I I have heard God

1.       I have felt the breeze

2.       I have seen kangaroos

3.       I have seen a koala

4.       I have watched Fijians do a traditional dance

5.       I have been caught in the rain

6.       I have experienced the hospitality of a stranger

7.       I have hitch-hiked

8.       I have sweat profusely

9.       I  have been sick

10.   II have been a vessel for the Holy Spirit

11.   II have prayed and seen things happen

12.   II have searched through the bush/scrub for a lost dog

13.   II have learned to drive a standard transmission LandCruiser/Troopy

14.   II have driven on the opposite side of the road

15.   II have had my heart broken for a people

16.   II have fallen in love with a blind Aboriginal

17.   II have met Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee in an aged care facility

18.   II have heard God speak

19.   II have been romanced and drawn in by the Lord…thirsting more and more

20.   II have been croc hunting at midnight

21.   II have been able to experience the beauty of the country that the Creator designed

22.   II have fallen in love with Australia

23.   II have been in 4 countries within 24 hours
