This morning I went to visit the  women at the local prison. They were so excited that we were there that they wanted a do a “concert” for us. So there in their cell, dancing on the beds they got their groove on to “Shake your body, Hallelujah.” While it was no jail cell tango,it was the most fun I have had in a long time. That’s right, “Shake your shoulders, Hallelujah.”  Amen.

I will be a part of a group that visits the prisons Monday through Friday. I am really looking forward to getting to know the women. There is a real hunger for truth there.

All the June Racers are working together this month. We are working outside Manila with a gentlemen named Jeff Long. He is the director of “New Faith Children’s Home” a part of  “Kids International Ministries” (http://www.kidsinternationalministries.org/

We are working with the children’s home, with the street kids, at a medical clinic, at a dental clinic, with a local news paper, with two local churches, with a prostitution ministry, with the local international school, with community development projects, and a million other things. Basically, anything that we have a passion for, we can serve in.

Personally, in addition to visiting the prisons, I will be co-teaching a bible study twice a week for the staff of the children’s home. Then twice a week, I will be co-teaching a evening bible study at the local community church.

I am looking foward to all this month has in store.
