When I first signed up for this adventure, one of my concerns was the people.  I mean, who wouldn't be?  You are living life 24/7 with a group of people for 11 months!  What if they don't like me?  What if we have different types of humor?  What if there is drama?  What if, What if, What if!

Now, I haven't met any of my squadmates in person, yet.  However, we have been getting to know each other for the past couple months via social networking.  And it might be a little early to say this, but I already have grown in love and respect for these future racers!  They have challenged the strength of my beliefs, made me laugh, and accepted my oddities (and trust me, I have quite a few).  But what I've learned is that we are all in this stage of What ifs!  We are all scared about leaving home for 11 months, about the people we will be living with, and even hygine and food.  However, I have never felt more comfortable talking to people I've never even seen face to face (aside from pictures).

So, this blog is for my squaddies 🙂  You are already making this journey amazing! I can't wait to see how we grow and mature in this process!  I can't wait for the adventures, for the late night chats, and the long hours of travel.  I can't wait for the stories, the laughs, and even the tears.  Because, so far, we have shown that we all have different strengths to share.  And if we can work together, this next year and a half is going to stretch us in ways that we can only dream!

I love you Super S Squad!!
