WE ARE IN VIETNAM HOLLA! So the other day we flew from Manila, which is where we had debrief to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. But this month we are in Da Nang, which is about a 23 hour bus ride. We had the awesome opportunity to experience a sleeper bus and it was pretty sweet so I figured I’d write a blog about it. This blog is full of tips and facts incase your planning on riding one in Vietnam and need some tips or if you just want a good laugh.

1. There are tons of windows when looking for a sleeper bus, none of them speak english, but thats okay! Don’t worry Jesus has got your back.
2. Take your shoes when getting on the bus, cause this Asia and they are not about your smelly dirty shoes on that bus. They will provide you flip flops! So sweet of them I know!
3. When you first get on the bus it might look like you walked into a night club, don’t worry it isn’t! They’ll tone them down once the ride gets going. Just bring your eye mask and you’ll be good to go!
4. Only bring the things on the bus that you think you’ll absolutely need when your aboard. Less stuff with you means more leg room!
5. Find the healthy balance between being hydrated but not too hydrated so that you don’t have to go to the bathroom all the time. They stop on their schedule not yours!
6. Bring snacks, the food might get weird and nobody wants to go hungry on a long bus ride!
7. You might get left behind during the stops so make sure you know how long you’ll be there. This is not a drill!
8. Bring ear plugs cause the drivers in Vietnam love to honk at anything and everything in their way.
9. Charge all the things before you get on the bus cause they might not have plug-outlets.
10. They give you blankets, so nice! They’ll be your life saver! It gets a little chilly up in the knight bus.
11. You will make friends on the bus and they’ll give you cute things like tissues and mini apple looking things.

All jokes aside we made it safely Da Nang and we are loving our ministry so far!
