"I'm going on the World Race" I've been saying that for a year now. How I'm going to fundraise, how I have to get MY yellow fever vaccines, MY malaria pills, MY continuous trips to the REI. In all the My, Me, & I's I've forgotten that this is not just my journey with Christ but also my family and friends as well. So because of all that I started praying a prayer for myself but more for my family and parents.
"Lord prepare my heart for these next 11months and what and who I'll encounter, Lord prepare my heart for leaving my family and friends and all I've known. But Lord I pray for my family and my parents hearts, Lord that you prepare their hearts to let me go. That you prepare my parents hearts' for giving me back to The Father. Lord let this be a as much of a journey for them, to strengthen their faith and trust in you Lord as it is for me. Lord I pray that this will be a spiritual journey for them and I to go through simultaneously in different time zones. Lord that this season be a season of growth, development and maturity in Christ all across the board."
So for my family and friends and really other WR families, trust God is good and He is big and He's keeping us safe in His loving arms.
I also have to have trust that the Lord will keep you my family and friends safe in His loving arms while I'm away. I trust that He is good, He is big, and He's keeping you in His loving arms. I love you guys and truly truly love and appreciate EVERYTHING you guys have done, given, spoken, prayed to me. Los quiero con todo corazon:*
