Many of us believe in Jesus and his death on the cross for the sins of the world.  Many of us believe that God created the heavens and the earth.  Many of us believe the Word of God as a whole.  And even though it's contrary to His word, many of us doubt in God's provision.  Why?

Jesus said, " And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:2-4

I like to think of a child, and how dependent they are on their parents for survival.  How many of them would be able to make it on their own successfully without a parent to guide their way?  I  look at my faith the same way; God is my Dad, and I depend on him completely for survival. I trust him like a child trusts their mother or father, completely without question.  I listen to his "because I said so's" because I know that he is looking out for the best for me.

So when I believe without a doubt that God is going to provide for my needs in this life, it's not out of naivety.  It's because I trust Him.  I trust His provision.  I trust in His word.  I trust in his promises.

"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" Romans 8:32
