Thank you supporters! I wanted to write a quick update on the fundraiser I did earlier this month. I am pleased to announce that we were able to raise over $1,500 to help support our beautiful street children! We had the privilege to take our core group (about 15 kids) to the local store to let THEM pick out an outfit complete with shoes, shirt, and pants. I have never seen the kids so happy! They were thrilled to pick out their own clothes because most of them had never had the chance to do this before, much less own clothes that actually fit! I was able to catch a few of these precious moments on camera and I wanted to share them with you!
A few days later, we went to the market and bought the kids an outfit to wear to church, plenty of underwear, and socks, which they will leave at the center to keep clean. The remainder of the money will be used to buy flip-flops and clothing for other street kids in the area. Total, about 150 children will be blessed by this donation! We could not have done this without the support of our family and friends back home. Thank you again so much and God bless!
