Hi Friends!
Today I feel immensely thankful. I’m thankful for each and every one of you – whether you are a friend, family member, acquaintance, donor, a prayerful supporter or someone who found this blog on Google. I love you all.
I have a new fundraiser going on that I am extremely excited for! It is called adopt-a-day and it gives you the opportunity to directly partner with me for a day (or multiple days) of ministry. I will be overseas for 11 months, and when broken down each day will cost about $50. By donating $50 you can “adopt” a day of my time on mission (from October 1st 2016 to August 31st 2017). I will write your name down on my calendar on that specific day and will be so motivated and excited to use it to the fullest when I know that YOU invested in me to do God’s work on that day. I will send you a thank you along with a summary of the day you sponsored and what I was able to do with your investment. I believe that this will be a way to fill us both with joy and encouragement on whatever day you sponsor me!
During your day I may be ministering to sex trafficking victims in Cambodia, or orphans in Swaziland or praying over the sick and destitute in a hospital in India. I hope that you will not only partner with me financially on your day, but that you will also be praying for God to use me in some pretty cool ways.
You can participate by letting me know what day you want to adopt (text me/call me: 7279675977/facebook message me/email me: [email protected]/leave a comment on my blog) and I’ll let you know if it is available. Feel free to adopt two days for $100, a full week for $350, a whole month for $1500, etc. Then, you can donate the appropriate amount by clicking on the donate button on the progress bar above or by mailing a check with my name in the memo line to:
Adventures in Missions P.O. Box 742570 Atlanta, GA 30374-2570
I am hoping and praying that this fundraiser will be a blessing to me, those participating and those that I have the honor of ministering to on that day. Again, thank you. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Whether you have the financial means to or feel called to give to me or not, please continue to pray for me. I definitely need it, as I am fully aware of my weakness without the Lord.
And for some encouragement for me and all of you this week:
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
