Hello friends!
My name is Elisabeth Chauncey and I have heard the unmistakable call of God on my life to go serve His people.
Some background information about me:
1. I call New Port Richey, FL home. It’s right north of Clearwater.
2. I will be graduating from the University of Florida on April 30th with degrees in business economics and political science.
3. I have been blessed with the most incredible, fun and encouraging support system of family and friends. I have grandparents, parents and brothers who have laid an incredible example and legacy of godliness and faithfulness for me to walk in.
4. On a typical day you can find me binge watching The Office while eating chocolate.
5. I had a life altering experience this past fall that transformed the condition of my heart and initiated my calling to do missions work. Please check out my blog posts to hear more about this.
6. I’ve never been camping……….
7. I should be terrified but, somehow, the Lord has kept me in perfect peace about this trip.
1 Corinthians 9:16 sums it up well:
“For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”
I humbly and joyfully accept this calling on my life – not because I think I am worthy of being a missionary or want to boast about my goodness – but because the Lord has placed on my incredibly flawed heart the obligation to go boast of His goodness. Woe to me if I ignore it.
