“That is a lot of money!”
“How do you plan to get $16,961 in less than a year?”
“You need to give up and save your money for the future!”
“Do you really think God just hands out money?”
“Okay…good luck!”
“Good luck?” Who needs luck when you have Jesus!? These are just some of the doubtful responses I get from people. Yes, in August of this year, I will be leaving for the World Race which requires a large sum of money in order to attend. Yes, $16,961 is a lot of money…But my Father in Heaven is a rich father who gives generously to his beloved children.
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries. I will be traveling to 11 countries with a team of young and passionate believers who pushed through the sufferings of fundraising and waiting. We will be proclaiming and sharing the Gospel and Love of Jesus Christ to the natives of each country and anyone else who crosses our path! We will be living in tents, huts, hammocks, shacks, and the unknown in unknown and unfamiliar places all for the cause of Christ. We will be preaching in churches, building and planting churches, we will be serving the homeless, the orphans, the widows. We will be going to the corners of heavy prostituted areas and doing sex traffic ministry and street evangelism. He will be taking part in the Great Commission, no matter how challenging, no matter how much suffering may come, no matter the amount of money it may take and no matter how much persecution we face!
So yes, $16,961 I accept your challenge! I will not step back in fear, I will not deny your challenge or be intimidated about your size. Do you want to know why? Well Mr.$16,961, I am going to tell you! “For my battle is not against flesh and blood!” Because, “Behold I am with you wherever you go!” “I will not fear or become dismayed, for my God is with me!”
We can all agree that the amount of money need for this trip is quite large. But that amount is nothing to our Father in Heaven! Who is willing to join me in defeating the $16,961? Who is willing to go into battle with me?
First I need people in my army willing to stand at the front lines with prayers. People who will not be afraid to cry out to Lord on my behalf and the behalf of each country that I will be traveling to!
Prayers for each country, Prayers for my spiritual strength and anointing, and prayers for me financially.
Second, I need people in my army to be the messengers. People willing to share my story, share what God is doing and recruite people into this army.
Share my blog, share God’s story in my life and the missions He has given our army.
Third, I need my snipers! The people willing to shoot for the goal, to give according to their ability and to trust God with their finances.
