Welcome to my page! So excited you are here! This is my first time blogging but I am more than excited to be using this as a medium to talk about my time before the race and during the race!
I am 21 years old.
I am Young Life Leader in Goochland,VA.
I go to Reynolds Community College in Richmond,VA. I will have an associates in Social Science in the spring of 2015.
I love going out to eat/trying new foods, spending time with friends, and fishing.
I have the same voice as a dieting owl so music is not exactly my thing, but I love many different genres and styles and music influences me a lot.
I love listening to Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Needtobreathe, Drew Holcomb, Bon Iver, John Mark McMillan, The Lumineers, Trevor Hall, Sublime, Walk Off the Earth, Foo Fighters, Josh Garrels , NF, Atmosphere, and many more.
Since coming to know The Lord my life has been radically different. I lived a life similar to the prodigal son analogy in The Bible. Luckily my heavenly father was there and embraced me when I was a long way out. I was hurting from the death of a friend, self consciousness, and loneliness. Jesus has redeemed my life and given me a testimony to use for his glory. He has also made me a very diligent worker in the work place. He gave me the wanting of adventure and not having total control in life that I used to need and crave. It’s been a long journey and my life has just only begun.
This is the biggest leap of faith I have ever made and I am terrified but have so much joy inside me since making this decision to go on the race. Please be in prayer with me for this trip.
