I
didn’t think we would get to say this until the day we left, but we
are fully funded! AHHHHHH! If you have ever support
raised for a ministry job or even for a short term mission trip, you
know the relief that comes from saying those words.
There
is nothing like trusting God with your money. Whether that be for a
down payment on a house or that next paycheck, there is level of
faith that keeps us focused on what God has given us responsibility
of and trusting Him to take care of the rest. Our prayer is that
whether we receive a steady paycheck or support raise all our lives,
that we will always have faith that God is the One that provides and we
will be forever grateful.
So
THANK YOU everyone who supported us with prayers and finances this
past six months. Our lives have not looked ‘normal’ for a long time
now, and we are grateful for all of you who trust Dustin and I, trust
God in us, and God in you to follow Him no matter how crazy the path may seem. Believe me, five years ago, this is not what I imagined
life would look like for us, but I can guarantee that by accepting His plans and not our own, we have been blessed beyond measure. No words can
describe the adventures, friendships, knowledge, and wisdom we have
gained by taking a risk and stepping out in faith.
In
