Well, Month 4 Debrief was last week, and we had some changes in our lives.

Entering this debrief, we knew that change was coming, so we had an opportunity to prepare ourselves, but change still is hard. All of the teams were changed up; some experienced more drastic changes than others. Some were asked to step back from their leadership roles as new folks have been given the opportunity to lead. Many folks were ready for change – others were not. Many folks appreciated the time they had with their first teams, but were ready to spend time with a new group; others did not want to leave their first team. Whether we are excited about the changes or not, entering a new chapter can be difficult. In addition to team and leadership changes, there were a couple of our squadmates who decided that it was time for them to go home; please keep them in your prayers, as well as the friends that remained in the field.

Prayers are much appreciated for the squad as we enter this new chapter. Prayers for rest, for energy, for sacrificial love, for respectful challenge, for sincere encouragement, for humble preference, for clarity and focus, for patience, for health, for safety, for maturity and integrity, for wisdom and discernment, for intentionality, for God’s presence.
