I know everyone is saying "its about time Drew writes a blog." And I know, I just wanted to wait until I had something to write about and I do.
I never thought I would be writing this on my first blog, but Praise God that I am fully funded. I want to thank everyone who is supporting me in prayers and financially. None of this would be possible if it were not for your help. It makes leaving a lot easier knowing that I have such a great support back home.
At this time I'm heading up to DC with my parents and brother for the night and they are going to drop me off at the airport Monday afternoon. I am required to go a day early since I have been assigned the role as one of the logistics leaders. Which I am really excited about but I little unsure what to expect. My team and myself will be in DC for a few days doing some training and then we will be heading to our first stop in Siaya, Kenya.
