  • Gotten kicked out of a campsite by the Indonesian Army
  • Led worship at a Muslim gathering 
  • Gone rock climbing
  • Stayed at a 4 star hotel for free
  • Been the guest of honor at an Islamic conference of over 1000 people
  • Gone to a Heidi Baker conference
  • Learned to surf at Cunta beach
  • Gotten an accidental pedicure 
  • Purposely had fish eat my feet
  • Toured Bali beaches via moped
  • Eaten street food in Bangkok
  • Celebrated Chinese New Year 
  • Crossed the Myanmar/Thailand border on foot
  • Learned to run with a stick for protection against wild dogs
  • Wrestled 50 Burmese kids at once
  • Preached a sermon in a skirt
  • Planted a church in Yangon
  • Taught at a missionary training school
  • Shared the Gospel with numerous Muslims, Hindus and Buddhist for the first time
  • Visited the ancient city of Bagan
  • Swam in multiple water falls
  • Camped in an airport
  • Seen countless people healed in India
  • Been in dozens Indian homes 
  • Been served gallons of chai tea in said homes
  • Served at a Mother Teresa House
  • Stained my clothes with paint in the Holi festival 
  • Went to a World Cup cricket game
  • Eaten at Chilis 
  • Visited the Taj Mahal
  • Slept in beds with burn holes from the ashes of cremated bodies
  • Seen bodies burn on the Ganges and human skulls on the shore. 
  • Seen the first and third highest mountain peaks in the world
  • Eaten enough rice, chicken curry and momos to last a lifetime
  • Spent 15 days trekking through the Himalayan foothills
  • Shared the gospel with 5 witch doctors 
  • Helped rebuild a church from the Nepali earthquake
  • Danced on a roof
  • Seen a goat get decapitated 
  • Experienced a 4.5 earthquake in Nepal
  • Made Indian, Nepali, Chinese, Burmese, Indonesian friends 
  • Got a tattoo in Katmandu 
  • Gone bungee jumping 
  • Worshipped on a mountain top
  • Experienced the Father’s love in a new level of intimacy
  • Eaten a fish head
  • Camped in an abandoned Chinese school
  • Hiked with backpackers from Ireland, Brussels, Spain and Israel 
  • Visited the most expensive national park in the world 
  • Eaten tacos in China made by a Mexican missionary 
  • Hitched-hiked in the back of a dump truck
  • Watched the sunrise/set on snow covered mountains
  • Become an expert squatter potty user 
  • Ate Yak jerky and fermented Mare’s milk
  • Driven a left-side-drive, manual truck on the crazy roads of Myanmar. 
  • Used 8 different currencies. 
  • Been at 15,000 ft on a bus and lived at 12,000 ft
  • Turned 24
  • Spent over 450 hours of traveling so far
 
 
 
As you can see, the first half of the race has been a wild ride for sure. I’ve gotten to do, see and experience more than I could have ever imagined just in these first 5.5 months. 
 
Thank you for your prayers and support so far! I would never be allowed these incredible opportunities without you. I know the Lord has so much in store for the next 5 months, so please don’t stop praying for Him to move and make His name famous around the world!
