This month we are working with a ministry called SHE (Self Help & Empowerment) ministry. It is run by a married couple who wants to help Thai women know that they are worthy besides using their bodies for sex. There are more opportunities for jobs like baking, cooking, making journals, and jewelry and even working for local hotels.
We will go into the bars and try and become friends with the girls. This is the month where all comfort is out with the wind, by talking to strangers who could be locals, tourists, and workers at the bar. So I have to lean more and more on the Father and the two other people I will be working with this month.
I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me personally this month in going to the bars, talking to the girls or whoever God puts in my path and learning from the teammates I will be working with this month. Living in a new community with all girls 24/7 is going to be new for me since I am regularly on a coed team.
