So this month the whole squad is together and we are in Honduras. Our whole route changed because we were supposed to be in Bulgaria. But God knows best because Honduras has been amazing. Granted we are a little spoiled here. But it is all good because we will miss these moments and yummy treats when we go further into our journey.

Our contact host is Tony an American that lives full time in Honduras.  He started this program for boys that live in the streets dealing or doing drugs. His calling is to house these boys and show them and teach them God’s love. That he has each boy sharing a message on every Sunday so people can see where their hearts are in the Lord.

But Tony has other programs that he is connected with one is called Infa where young girls have trouble homes, wanted by the law or need to have a safe place to live. The other is with a Pastor that takes gangs out off the streets and makes them play soccer. They have official games with each other. Both programs are so amazing to see and work with. And there is time where we visit the dump and serve the people. Also maybe going to Los Pinos and see where the boys are from.

We are helping Tony by making his property looking more welcoming instead of ghetto which he likes to say. That some teams are painting the inside of his house, 2 teams are fixing the main entrance,  clearing the flower bed, and de-rocking the yard and painting and making sure the common room inside looks wonderful and mach teeing the yard. Each team has been working hard to get everything done and yet making sure it looks wonderful.

What Tony is doing on his property is so amazing. It does make you feel like you are home or just want to be a kid again with swinging on a swing from a tree or climb a tree and there are even tree houses. It looks scary but yet again makes you want to be a kid again.
