So as I posted in my last blog, I have reached the final funding deadline – $14,300 by the first of July.  Praise God for His faithfulness ot provide all the money needed to stay on this incredible trip that He has called me to!  It’s been an incredible ride so far, to see how God has brought money in from people and places I never expected and in absolutely amazing ways.  It’s not just that God has provided for me financially for the Race, though – He’s a much bigger God than that!  When I left home in January, I had nearly $50,000 in medical bills as well.  I’ve written already about the way God has cleared that away as well.  In total, God has provided for me, one way or another, more than $60,000!  That’s a number I can’t even begin to consider earning on my own, and certainly not in 9 short months!
I want to especially thank each one of you who have supported me financially.  I know it can often be a challenge to support someone else on a mission like mine, and each gift is equally precious to me regardless of the amount.  I am deeply indebted to all of you for coming to my assistance as I carry God’s light of love to the nations, and I hope someday to be able to thank each one of you in person.

Thank you all so much!  I am confident that God will reward your faithfulness with immeasurably more than you could ever have asked for!
I would also like to extend a special thanks to each one of the amazing men and women of God who have prayed for my support – although some of you may not have been able to give financially, your prayers have been, and remain, absolutely essential to the continued efficacy of God’s work through me everywhere I go.  Please keep praying!
Although I’ve reached my funding, I will be coming home to a nearly empty bank account – so if you would like to help me pay for expenses such as my plane ticket home from Los Angeles, I would be extremely grateful!  There is a small amount of money that AIM can reimburse me for (travel to training camp, launch in Miami, and some of the purchases and expenses I’ve had to prepare for the trip itself) and those donations remain tax-deductible.  If that’s not a significant concern for you, you can send me an email (use the “Contact Me” link on the left) and we can work something out.  The most important way you can continue to support me is through prayer – I have 5 months left on the Race, and a completely unknown future awaiting me when I get back home.  Pray for God to continue to mold me into a more Godly man, and that the missions He sends me and my team to will be prepared for the light we bring.
