Hard to believe, but month one has come and gone, and now we
are half way through month two.

On the church construction, before leaving we were able to
do a great deal of excavation, poured some of the foundation, and got up some
of the main walls. Although, I would like to have seen the church through to
completion, it is nice to know that we were able to help in a big way and what
we did would probably have taken the few men working on it several months.   Pastor Manuel said that he believes God will
continue to provide missionaries and supplies enough that they should be able
to finish the church within a year.

Leaving Guatemala came with mixed emotions. It was exciting because we were leaving only
to start a new month in another country, but it also came with feelings of
wishing we could do more. Perhaps come
next October, after the World Race, the Lord will allow me to go back to Lacama
to see the people in their new building?
