WORK:
It’s not a nine to five.
It’s not just another paycheck.
There are no weekends.
No hump days or Mondays.
No ladders to climb…or fall.
It’s about your hands.
It’s about your feet.
It’s dirt mixed with sweat.
Putting your all into each day.
And every day.
No 401k or quotas per day.
You don’t get hired.
You don’t get fired.
But you might get fired…up.
Doing the best you ever have.
Ending each day spent.
Wanting what you do to speak.
Speak of your time well spent.
Speak of your dirt stained hands
Speak of your sweat soaked shirt.
Speak of your….WORK.

Work- Exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something; labor; toil.
This month has been so amazing. We have had many opportunities to serve our host and work. And we worked hard. We put our all into whatever we did.

Sometimes work meant teaching English at New Jerusalem children’s home.

Sometimes it means biking around town and surveying other restaurants for the owners of Famous Rays Burgers.

Sometimes it looks like playing sports with thirty or so kids.

Sometimes it means tilling and plowing a garden by hand.

Other times it was bringing food to villages across the border in Burma.

Then at times it was resting, so we could give it our all again.

This month we did many things, or was it just one?
We built The Kingdom brick by brick.
