So recently I've been stressing out well more like freaking out about fundraising buy I mean who hasn't at one point or another. This whole time I've been depending on myself to figure out how I can raise $15,500. No one by them self can do that. Last night it hit me that no matter how hard I try to do this by myself I can't. The only way I can do this at all is because of God. The only reason any of us can do this is because of Him. If Jesus hadn't died on the cross we would still be sinner living in nothing but misery. So as of last night I handed over all this fundraising stuff to God. I'm so thankful for doing so. Anywho here is my support letter I sent out to family and friends.
Family and Friends
I’m excited to share some important events, which occurred in my life during the past year. Last March, I was blessed to serve on a mission trip in Oakville, Canada. What a tremendous eye-opening experience! I realized how blessed a life I have. Since Canada I have heard God’s call to continue to serve as his hands and feet to the individuals who have not heard the liberating proclamation of God’s kingdom to the nations of the world. I’m excited that God has placed before me another opportunity to serve!!!!
I will serve as a member of The World Race. The World Race is a part of the Adventures in Missions organization. The World Race is a Christian mission trip that last 11 months. During these 11 months, I will be a part of a team that travels to 11 different countries. If you are interested in learning more on the World Race, please visit the web site www.theworldrace.org. While serving on the World Race, my team and I will partner with local churches and ministry to spread the good news and hope of God’s love. We will plant, start and build churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in human trafficking.
I cannot express how excited I am to have this opportunity to share God’s love to His broken children! All my faith is in Him that He will provide for my needs! I am praying that He will use you to support me during His mission to the nations. First and foremost, please pray that I will be faithful in answering His calling as I serve Him. Second, please prayerfully consider partnering with me financially. To go on the World Race I must raise $15,500. This amount covers all my expenses while on the field.
