I am so incrediably flattered by the way he relentlessly pursues me and woos me with his tender touch and the guidance of his hand to direct me gently in the right direction.
I want to share a story with you about how my beloved has been pursuing me in such a way that he literally takes my breath away. How honey drips from his lips, with every word he speaks to me I begin to taste and see His goodness more fully. How the way he looks at me makes me feel like the most beautiful elegant woman in the room.
There is something about being in a foreign place that makes you see things with a different perception. With my new perception came a lot of insecurities and other struggles that held me in bondage. I was completely unaware of the things that were coming like a thief in the night to still my joy, hope, and peace.
However, I am so thankful for the way he knows exactly how to love me. It all started in Atlanta (at launch) before leaving the states. I remember feeling so overwhelmed and anxious about leaving. I was drowning in fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of feeling inadequate. I remember thinking its not to late to go back home. So, I took all of my fear to the feet of the Father and He was quick to give me two visions. In the first vision there was nothing around us, just me and Him. He was standing in front of me locking eyes with mine he started motioning with his hands for me to come with him. Looking into his eyes and seeing his tender smile, I said yes that night. The second vision he gave me was of him and I in a room together swaying back and forth just resting in his arms. As he locked eyes with mine I remember distinctly hearing him say “just dance with me Diamond and let me lead you. All you have to do is follow.”
I have never been so grateful for him leading me on this journey. This whole month he reminded me of his love for me. He reminded me that my confidence is found in him and just like any relationship/journey there is a beautiful process that has to be grown. With every step there is purpose. One night in Novi Sad while sitting with the Lord he gave me a song called we dance by Steffany Gretzinger. I remember closing my eyes and remembering the time we danced before, only this time we had music and the lyrics couldn’t be more true. “you spin me round and round and remind of that song. The one you wrote for me. And we danced.” Im falling more and more in love you Jesus and I’m so honored you chose me to dance with on this journey. “I will lock eyes with the one who’s chosen me. The one who set my feet to dancing.”
