Let me begin this blog one day in advance, the morning of May 11, 2011.

The tip of the sun proceeds to peer just over the mountain top and I think to myself, “My time is short. If I start running now shall I reach the sun before he rejoins the stars?” No time to waste we must run to the sun if we shall ever see his face. Oh what grace sun that you allow the stars to shine and take care of the moon. And with each rotation around the axis they slowly fade away as you outshine them all. This is the day you are so close I shall greet you with a holy kiss.
Almost all the stars have now faded as the sun encroaches upon the clouds. Another sunrise gone by with the same results, only I was so close this time. Listen carefully, I have tried many a days in many a ways. Sometimes I believe I can swim to the sun as it ignites an ocean horizon in all of its glory. It perches itself just atop the calm morning waves as if you could swim into its core. I have yet to succeed in these quests, yet I am always left with the same feeling, “Take care of my moon son.” I suppose that is what we stars do; we make the moon aware he or she is reflecting the light of the sun. I remember that I was a moon once; that is before I knew I could be a star! Everything changed so quickly, the free and effortless decision to shine was immediate and apparent. It’s a gift, a free promotion to a community of galactic treasure; yea I tell you what a pleasure what a pleasure. Thus I am compelled to inform the moon for I know what it will mean to it to know the sun wants it to shine. Oh moon did you hear that you have universal riches awaiting?
The day before this spectacle of a sunrise we had the honor of sharing light with several of the Lords precious moons. As we traveled from house to house through the rural mud hut residences of Kabimoi village a farming man’s family and several young boys took the quantum leap into stardom.
Throughout the course of our time here in Kenya people have been incredibly receptive to the gospel message and the Lord has moved. We are witnessing daily miracles, heart transformations! New creation, a spiritual birth, is their truly a greater wonder than this? We have been enabled by our Lord to encourage the community of saints here. We have lead church services and spoken In front of three schools totaling over 1,200 young men and women. Claim who God says you are is becoming a recurring theme at these gatherings and it has fired up the youth. We will be a part of a new church launching in Eldama Ravine on the 22nd of this month and are expecting wonderful things. As we begin spreading the message about service this Sunday I ask that you keep us in your prayers so that the people of this community will be as responsive as our village friends have. Blessings and remember to take care of the moon today saints.
“You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.”
