The structure of an Arrow:

1) the Shaft – The shaft is the primary structural element of the arrow, to which the other components are attached.

  •     Our shaft is the Love of Christ and the voice of God. We are anchored in these truths, and they function as our primary structural unit holding all things together.
2) Arrowhead –  The arrowhead or projectile point is the primary functional part of the arrow, and plays the largest role in determining its purpose.

  •       Our Arrowhead is the word of God and the Holy Spirit. We will cast fatal wounds on the enemy through the authority  of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
3) the Fletching – The aerodynamic stabilization of arrows with materials such as feathers. Fletching stabalizes the Arrows flight.

  •  Our fletching is the body of Christ. Our fellowship and community with each other will stabalize our flight and limit any air resistance.
With God as our Archer, We are drawn from the quiver of Hope. Shot out as arrows of  light piercing through the darkness and delivering a fatal blow on the enemy.

We are Team Arrow!
Psalm 127
“Unless the Lord builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchmen stand guard in vain.
In vain you rise earlyand stay up late,
toiling for food to eat –for he grants sleep to
those he loves.
Sons are a heritage from the Lord,
children a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their enemies at the gate.”
