Dexter Meeks. 21. Born in Savannah, Georgia.
Hard to believe it is history: 
During the first part of my childhood my family was in the military. It was an amazing experience to say the least. Although I was quite young, I have fairly vivid memories of our travels. We lived in San Antonio, Texas for 2 years, followed by a 2 year stay in the beautiful country of Turkey. After our thrilling adventure overseas we ventured back to the States into the military metropolis of Warner Robins, Georgia. After living at Robins Air Force base for a couple years my family decided to seek new opportunities outside of the military, so we moved to the suburbs of Warner Robins in a little town called Byron. I grew up in this little suburban home and met people who would be instrumental in my growth spiritually, mentally, and physically.
I became part of an amazing youth group at a church called Christ Chapel when I was 16. At the age of 17 I asked Jesus into my heart. From that point on I have attended this wonderful house of God. When I got out of High School I attended a local college for 2 years before transferring to Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Georgia. I have just completed my second semester here and am 2 semesters away from graduating with a bachelors in kinesiology. This part of my life is being put on hold, because I know God has called me to greater things for this next year.
The Family:
My family is an absolute blessing. I have the most gorgeous and caring mother in the world. An amazing stepfather. Two more wonderful parents living in Savannah. A brother who is one of my best friends. Two stunning sisters. And an extended family I can call on for anything.
But really, Who is this Guy?
I am in love with the Lord… Because of this, I am learning more and more about myself everyday… I am very optimistic… I love encouragement… I have fun in everything I do… People tend to think I am cool and confident, but really I can be very self conscious… I am quite observant… I love competition… I will play anything… I have learned I thrive under pressure… I exercise or play sports atleast 2 hours a day… I grew up playing baseball, but I play alot of basketball these days… I love the Braves! I am a big boxing and mixed martial arts fan… Machida is my favorite… I enjoy fishing and hunting… The water is like my second home… I like to run late at night with my ipod… I am usually full of energy… I love to laugh… I enjoy reading and writing… I am always down for something new.
