I got off the plane and stared at tons of brown eyes. I made it to Ghana, Africa… Lord don’t leave me alone. I didn’t know my classmates very well and I had just come out of a rough time in my life. Africa had been calling me for years and I finally set foot of African soil. All I could remember is the amount of men staring at me and with in two minutes I had been proposed to marriage more times than I ever imagined myself ever being asked. Dear God what have I gotten myself into? Then a man who went by Frank came up and grabbed my luggage, panicked, until I realized my professor knew him,  I followed him through the airport to the bus. It was hot, I’m talking super hot. It was the rain season and I have never been hotter in my life. Lord why did I feel you call me to this place, where are you?… A few hours later I found out. Frank started singing a Hilsong United song… No way… Really? In the middle of Africa not even a missions trip and The Lord shows up. Wow. Shortly after I met the coolest guy ever named Samuel. (Franks brother) he was a story teller by nature. He began telling stories and I was zoomed in to everything he told me. He knew what was important in life. Some of his teachings changed my perspective on a global scale. I would not be writing this had it not been for Africa. The Lord will call… But he will not leave you. What you can’t do he will provide a help. He will provide an Erin to help you hold your staff.

Keep going. Do the Lords work. Do not turn your eyes away from what he is calling and asking of you. You are not alone.  Alone is a choice and a matter of the heart.
