I feel like I haven’t shared many stories yet of people we have met or things that have happened that have touched my heart. Here are a few of those people and stories from each country I have been in so far.

Ireland:
We were going around the streets in Ireland and asking people if we could wash their windows for free. It was really fun actually. We got to an older mans house who was very happy that we would wash his windows. He seemed rough around the edges and he walked with a cane and a limp. He was telling us the pain he was having in his leg so we asked if we could pray for him. He was really eager but he asked if we could pray inside for him.  There were some drunk men outside his house and he was afraid they would make fun of him. So we went inside and he sat in a chair. I remember just looking in his eyes and just seeing so much pain and hurt and rejection. We decided to pray for him but keep our eyes open and talk to him to. We told him how much Jesus loved him. That whatever has happened to him in the past or with his family Jesus wants to heal that. We just started telling him that he is not forgotten and he is so loved. Then I started to tell him all the wonderful things I noticed about him in the 5 minutes that I had known him. How welcoming and sweet he was and how comfortable he made us feel in Ireland. Then told him that God was proud of him and made him the sweet way he is. I looked him right in the eyes and told him this, he then started to cry. This rough, frailed old man teared up before me and I started to thank God so much for this mans life. WOW! What window washing can do!

Romania:
In Romania we were able to hang out  in the Gypsy villages. We were told about one girl who had been in a major car accident and was in some very unhealthy relationships with a few men. We saw her walk out of the house. She was beautiful with bandages all over her body and bloody stains. She had no hope in her face, no smile, and I felt a sense of defeat that she carried. That day we ended up praying over her. We asked God to heal all her broken bones and her wounds from the accident. Then we started to tell her how beautiful she was. That God saw her as pure. That he has a place for her in his kingdom and that he has a purpose and dreams for her. We told her that she deserved God’s love. (We had a translator) She looked at us with tears in her eyes.
We saw her 7 days later. All the bandages were gone. There were a few light scars. No broken bones no more wounds. She was smiling, hugging us, joining us in everything we were doing. She told us God healed her body.  The change was only a miracle. She had a glow like I cannot describe. She no longer had those boyfriends. She was saying she loved us and running all around. She had hope and a purpose.
I love joining God and helping in his work of bringing freedom.

Hungary:
We were homeless in McDonalds. Really cold outside with not a place to go. Through a series of events we were picked up by someone we didn’t even know. A couple of Americans and their two little kids who let us have their warm living room for as long as we needed. Yay God’s provision. We had amazing soup that night and a lot of great conversation.  When I asked them if it was ok that we used their living room for so long, they just said, “It’s Gods living room. So yah. Stay as long as you need.”
We shared life with them. It was like the Church in the bible again. We were able to be with them when their young Hungarian friend decided to dedicate her life to Christ and join us in his freedom. It was beautiful and she experienced God in a very tangible and loving way. We all cried together and had a lot of fun.
P.S.  Pizza in Hungary is very good!

More stories to come! I Love all of you!
