The entire team just arrived in Ireland. The past two days the leaders and a few wives were preparing for them to come. Today  we spent the day racing around Dublin on a road race/scavenger hunt. Our team, Goodness Gracious, won the race and we got a box of Lucky Charms for a prize. Yippee! The people here are beautiful and seriously so kind and adorable.

Tonight we were gifted a dinner at a local hotel. We had lasagna, chips (aka French Fries), salad, veggies, and cake. It was hilarious. We ate and acted like we had been on the World Race a year. It was day one for most everyone. HAHAHA. I guess that is what jet lag does for you.
Now on to praise. I was telling a World Race alumni about the stress fracture in my foot. It was really bothering me, mostly cause I wanted to run through a field in Ireland.  Her advice. “Well, If Jesus were to be with someone who had a broken foot, he would heal it. So if we are to be Jesus you guys should just pray over it.” She shared a story about the last World Race training camp when a girl was in tears from knee pain. They prayed over her and within 20 minutes she was sprinting up stairs while everyone praised the Lord. Of course, Tamica decided it was time to pray over my foot.  Some laid hands over my foot and began to pray. In just a few minutes it felt like my bones were shifting, like I was feeling my foot being fix. It wasn’t painful, just super cool. Later they had me run around the camp ground in flip-flops and pajamas, then race around Dublin for the day. To find out there is NO PAIN. AMAZING oh AMAZING. With that being said, the bible is coming alive. If we believe in Jesus, and he says we shall do greater things than he, well, I better sure believe this would be the norm in this Christian journey.  Once I realized the bible is as alive as it was back then, my life has been anything but ordinary and boring.

p.s. The manager of the camp ground just came up and said we were such a blessing (80 some wild world changers?) and that he loved to hear us sing and fellowship together, and so he would like to give us some free fire pits and fire wood so we could sing around the fire “with your guitars.”  What a blessing, and how sweet.

Love you all!
