Apparently the internet in Kenya does not want to play nice and work with me. I just want to throw something but that would not help the situation at all. After a month of pretty much no internet we found an internet cafe, that’s pretty fast in Kisumu. I was excited to get to the internet and I typed of blogs last night on a friends computer (because my screen is all gray and fuzzy and basically not working) and I put the pictures from the month on my external hard drive; I was ready.
I sat down at the computer, got the screen working, plugged in my external hard drive, opened up my computer and there was nothing ;( It didn’t register that anything was plugged in, I tried both USB ports and nothing worked. Then I tried my thumb drive and that didn’t work either π I don’t know if it’s just this computer or what, but it’s really annoying!!!
Unfortunately, I do not have the energy or the memory to retype out everything I had written last night π I will try a different computer later but I make no promises. Until I am able to post things I just wanted to let you all know that I am well! Kenya is a beautiful country and we had some great ministry days and great adventure days (hiking to a waterfall). IN short we did door to door house visits, played with lots of children, talked at a few schools and worked with people who were addicted to different substances.
We leave tomorrow for Uganda! I don’t remember the name of the town and again I have NO idea if I will have internet or not π I do know that we will have a slightly different team: Lamar (new leader), Joe, Don, Hailey, Rosa, Erin (possibly though not official) and me π We are looking forward to a new season and all that Uganda has to offer us!!!
Thank you in advanced for your patience and feel free to send messages for me to get when I do have internet – they are always great to read!!
God Bless
