I can’t believe it, Thailand is over 🙁 It was a wonderful month working with wonderful girls! While we were there we got to see cultural dancing, ride elephants, go to an orchid farm, walk up a waterfall, visit a creepy cave AND eat a lot of amazing food! I could not decide what pictures to post so I’m going to put the links of my facebook albums here 🙂

On Thursday night we left our hostel area at 8pm to head to the airport in Bangkok. It took FOREVER for the check in to open and even longer to get through the customs & security checks. At 11pm we finally were in the terminal. We were supposed to load at 11:35pm but it was more like midnight before we got on the plane 🙂 It was not a comfortable flight but at least it was direct! To be honest, I do not remember what time we landed: I think we took off at 12:30am-ish and it was a 9.5 hour flight WITH a 4 hour time gain 🙂 I do remember that we got two meals, and I had a nice white wine!! Getting everyone through the VISA/check in process took about an hour and then we waited for our bus and finally we arrived at our hostel in Nairobi, Kenya!! We will be at the hostel until the 2nd when we will head to our ministry site. We will be headed to Kitale, Kenya and working with a church called Deliverance. We’ve been told that we will be living in our tents (which would be nice to actually use it) but we won’t find out for sure until we arrive. Also, we won’t find out what we are doing for the month until we arrive either. In addition I have no idea what the internet situation will be 🙁 So, if you don’t hear from me for a couple weeks its simply because we don’t have internet and you can bet that when I do get internet I will post and blog as much as I possible can!
I am soo excited for Africa 🙂 Even if I don’t seem to have internet, feel free to send me e-mails or facebook messages, it’s nice to have mail when I finally do get to use the internet!!
