After lunch we prepare to head out to Neuvo Esperanza (the community we carried the electricity poles too) to go visit a family there. We prepare ourselves to climb back up the mountain side; which was almost more difficult without the electric poles.

As we reached the top of the mountain side, I was excited to be on flat land and find the house! However, we still had a 30 minute walk ahead of us. Not just any walk, nope. A walk through a muddy, puddely, knee deep, trying to steal my shoes path. The pictures didn’t capture it the way walking through it did; but nonetheless here they are anyway.

 

In case we didn’t have enough fun completing the walk the first time, we had to come back through the muddy, puddely, knee deep, trying to seal my shoes path at night, in the dark; ya know head lamps can only help so much 🙂
I came home covered in mud!
