I am so excited to say that I am less than $300 away from my first deadline!! By December 14th I need to have $5000 in my account, and as I just said I am only $300 away AND I know of $200 that will be in the account by this Friday!! I am soo excited!! I can’t believe that I am launching for this trip in 4.5 weeks, the time has flown. I’m also blown away by the donations that I have received and the way that God has already begun to work on this trip!! And I have officially booked my ticket to Miami, Florida (this is where my squad will be meeting to fly to The Dominican Republic together)!! I will fly to Miami on the 6th late at night 🙂
Also, my t-shirt design is ready!! Rob, my fantastic boyfriend, poured many hours into creating this design and I could not be happier with the way it turned out!! I am going to attach the file. They are going to be t-shirts, sizes Adult Small to 3XL and I will be selling them for $20 each. Of that $20, about $14 will go directly towards my trip, the other $6 will pay for the printing/shirt costs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pre-order your shirt so that I will have your size!! I aim to place an order in a week and a half so that I can have the shirts by Christmas. If you live further away but still would like a shirt, if you mail a check for say $23 dollars that can cover the cost of shipping it out to you as well!! Also, if you are able to send a check or give me the money before I place the order that would be very helpful!! As some of you may, or may not know, there has been some major medical AND political concerns in Haiti. As Adventures in missions has been monitoring the happenings of Haiti, they decided it is too dangerous for us to travel to; thus the countries I will be traveling too will be altered. My new route is: The Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Peru, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Thailand, Malaysia and possibly Cambodia!
The shirt……it will be on a tan/sand colored shirt!!
