I can hardly believe that it’s the middle of October and I’m
here at training camp. We are only a smidge over half way done and I can just
feel like my world has been rocked.

Admittedly, I had no idea what to really expect upon
arriving. All I knew was that I was excited, though nervous, for whatever God
had in store; and man, it’s like God opened up a super WalMart over  us.

The people have been amazing – there are about 200 people
here from all walks of life, and yet it feels like we have been in each others
lives for a long time. The food has been like nothing I have ever eaten before –
so different!! The worship time has blown my mind. The speakers have been
incredible and caused us to think differently and yet more biblically. My
squad, V SQUAD, has bonded and become a family and allowed each of us to have a
safe space to share our lives at, in the most real ways.

I feel like everyone should come to this training camp, even
if you do not go on the race. And for anyone interested in joining The World
Race as you prepare for training camp, just be prepared to experience church
the way I believe it was meant to be experienced: honest, biblical, safe,
loving and spirit lead.
