Close your eyes and picture someone saying hallelujah!
You’re peekinggggg. Just do it.
I bet 100 dollars you saw a large african american lady saying it. You’re laughing cause it’s true.
Why do you think you pictured that specific person? Maybe cause she says it with complete power and extreme joy.
Hallelujah is a word I used a lot this past month… always in the tone the awesome African American woman I pictured.
found a jar of peanut butter… HALLELUJAH
one of my best friends got baptized in a river… HALLELUJAH
had a solid bowel movement after 2 weeks of no luck… HALLELUJAH
was on fire for the holy spirit.. HALLELUJAH
I have realized that hallelujah is a word with a lot of power. It is also the same word in every language and it is used by spiritual and non-spiritual people always in time of extreme joy.
My favorite use of the word is in church services along with all the “amens”. When the congregation said it during sermons they said it with such power and it gave the person preaching a confidence booster. When they would sing it the word was so clear and harmonized perfectly. i love this word. This word provides people with relief. Think about it.
You are running out the door before an interview and you can’t find your cellphone after searching for a good 5 mins which seems like 2 hours you find it… first word that pops in your mind=hallelujah
You’re in church the pastor has a sermon and it literally sounds like it was written for you = hallelujah
.
This word has become a necessity in my World Race vocabulary because I have little moments that cause me to have extreme joy.
enhance your vocab. be a large african american lady. have extreme joy.
Have a hallelujah of a day!
(see what I did there.. baddumchi)
A huge Thank you to everyone that has supported me to be on this amazing journey! Words can not describe how thankful I am to have to all in my lives and have faith in me that I can change the world one country at a time! I am only 2,000 away from being fully funded!!
I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for all of you!
