So the first 3 months of the race are nearly over and I am not even quite sure I have the words to describe everything that God has done. The only words that I can say to describe my first 3 months are GOD IS GOOD!
I have learned that following God with wild abandon is the way I want to live my life. God has taught me that I am His precious daughter and He has an amazing plan for me.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 says:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
I am constantly finding myself reading these verses and just resting in the fact that God has everything in control and that there is no need for me to worry when my Father has the perfect plan for my life…all I have to do is TRUST Him with all of my heart.
We are leaving Central America on December 31st and will be flying out to the Philippines on January 1st. I am very excited about the plan that God has for my squad as we venture out to Asia…and my prayer is that God will break our hearts for what breaks His because I know that when that begins to happen our hearts are truly lining up with Gods and that is all I want for me, my team and my squad. God’s kingdom is on the horizon…and we are ready to be clay in His mighty hands.
