David Matthew Williams, this is my legalname, but from the day I was born I have gone by Matt. I’m 20 and I was raised
and still live in Dallas, TEXAS. I was brought up in an average middle class unsaved
household with my parents and older sister (13 yrs older to be exact). Although
I have only one biological sibling, I have 3 more brothers in the family that
God gave us. My two cousins live with us (ages 7&8) and one of my best
friends (age 20) also lives with us. They are just like brothers to me and my
family, and it defiantly wouldn’t be the same if they didn’t live with us.
Growing up I saw God through my grandma and it was at her
church that I received Christ into my heart in the 7th grade, and by
the 9th grade my parents had surrendered their lives to God and we
had found a home church. Growing up I was involved in Taekwondo with my dad and
I received my black belt in 8th grade. After that I went through my
circus stage and so I joined gymnastics. Needless to say after I prayed about
it (while I had four broken vertebrates and a broken ankle) I concluded that
the circus wasn’t for me. I love to travel;
I’ll go anywhere I’ve never been before, and I find unusual plants interesting
too. I’m looking forward to the World Race 09 and can’t wait to see what God
has in store for me.
