I was going to write a blog about your voice and how it relates to
everyone’s personal relationship with Christ but something struck me
very personally. I feel led to share it because I struggle with this
everyday. Today I was sorting through old mail and bills I had left
sitting for too long and I ran across a a receipt from time-it lube. With
the receipt was the complimentary car deoderizer that everyone knows
doesn’t work too well anyway. Underneath all this was a piece of paper
that had the company logo on it and said this:

“This is the beginning of a new day. God has given me this day to use
as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is
important, because I’m exchanging a day of my life for it. When
tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever, leaving in it’s place
something that I have traded for it. I want it to be gain, not evil;
success, not failure; in order that I shall not regret the price I paid
for it.”

Wow. First thing you should know is I don’t believe in coincidences.
When things like this happen I believe that God is using it to speak to
us in a very personal way. I will even go as far as to say that He
orchestrates it. I think that God is telling me not to waste my days
because they are so precious. Each day He has something for me, whether
it is truth I need to hear or a task at hand I must finish. I think
I’ve found my new morning prayer! It feels like I should be on t.v. when
I say this but thanks time-it lube!
