Pray For Post Office in Cambodia

          Welcome to Cambodia

The first days in Cambodia have been Hot. You can not go a day without having a bath in your own sweat. Average temperature is 30ËšCelsius about 90-100ËšFahrenheit. Its the hottest time of the year here in Cambodia. Cambodia is rich with a History of violence as many kings and rulers have fought over the land with no regard for human life. Its a land that is 93% Buddhist and everything else falls into the other 7%, followed by Chinese ancestor worship, then Animism, then Muslim, and lastly Christianity. There is freedom of worship.

We have an all new team. My
team leader, Noe, has been promoted to Squad Leader. We traded the much
missed, Lauren, for the fabulous, Nicole . Noe’s absence was filled by
the great man, Jonathan. Check
out their blogs on the links to the left. We have a new team and call
ourselves, Post Office: We deliver the Word on time. A word of hope and
deliverance to all who will hear and obey and to those who will not.
Our Post Master is God Himself.

In the morning we will be traveling north about 2 1/2 hours to a town or district called Boray. Here we will be disciplining students in the ways of Jesus Christ both those wanting to know more about him and those who have a relationship with Him. We will also be doing English classes and teaching the locals how to speak English. We will also be involved in some construction or manual labor, being that it is hot I pray we take our time and wisdom in working in this hot heat.

Being this nation is very heavy into spirit worship and in the good works of Karma, this will be a very needed time of prayer on your part my friends. You can prayer for understanding, such as the Cambodians will understand the gospel and our language difference will not be a hindrance. Pray for us as we minister to those who are interested in Christ would have their hearts opened by the Holy Spirit as to how much God wants a relationship with them. Pray for those who are His children that they don’t have to follow the practices they were use to, such as Spirit worship and sacrificing to there ancestors, that they are free from such things, because of there freedom in Christ.

Pray for us as we are now going to rely on a translator for much of our conversations. Pray for patience, and humbleness with our translators. Pray for us as we will be delivering a Gospel that the enemy does not want delivered. As we have a new name, Post Office, we will be delivering the Gospel through Spiritual storms, and Momentous oppressive hail, and Hellish watchdogs. But being Faithful stewards to our Post Master, the Holy Spirit, He will empower us to Spread the Wonderful news of Deliverance.

Also if you have not given, Now is a wonderful time to Give as I will have no internet or phone access for the next twenty days. Just click on the Support Link to the left. Thanks for all those who already Give and Pray for me and my team God Bless Yall.
