Just so you guys know I have about 3 blogs a brewing. It is difficult though to write them and then with get them onto a computer at an internet cafe. So I will give you guys a bit of an update till then. Life is great, I really feel spiritually alive. There are so few distractions here that I can get to know God a lot better and also my team. In one sense it feels like we have not had a lot of really deep ministering to others in this country other than our host family because there is such a language barrier but I have seen so much fruit in my own life and my team. But it’s also been beautiful to see the power of love transcend language barriers and reach people’s hearts.
A lady in this town was run over by a car while we were here and died. It was really sad, we didn’t know her but we went to the viewing and her mother and sister were so thankful we were there they were crying and the mother said “I thank God for you, I will pray for you everyday”. Here we are complete strangers and yet simply showing up to show our care for her and her family really touched this woman. It touched me to see it.
I have started fasting here and God has shown me a lot about Himself and His power. I am a lot weaker physically but more dependant on Him spiritually. God has been filling me with faith and courage to trust Him for great things this year. But more than that I just really want to love God and get to know Him better.
Next month we have an ATL (Ask the Lord) and it’s been really amazing. Our next country hasn’t been approved yet and so it’s still kind of a secret, but my whole team seperately got clues and then when we came together on Thursday God very clearly showed us a specific country and ministry that He wanted us to go to. Egypt got cancelled but this country would be way better and just be the best thing ever. I’m getting really excited about the possibility.
Next week every world racer on the field is heading to Brashav Romania for an Awakening conference. There will be about 200 of us and some incredible speakers. I just can’t wait, that many wild Jesus-lovers in one place. It’s going to be good. I love you guys. God bless!
