Life has been a bit of an amazing and a wonderful rollercoaster these last few weeks. I spent two weeks at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp. A great christian camp near my house where I worked as a cabin leader. We had a lot of fun and the Holy Spirit really showed up one night in my cabin. Then I spent a week and a half getting vaccinations, buying gear and seeing friends for the last time before I leave for a year.
Life has been so great, every day is filled with new blessings and great experiences. I’ve read a ton of books, and learned a lot. I’ve grown a pretty big beard. I graduated from FIRE school of ministry and got my bachelors of practical ministry. I got to speak at my graduation and it was really fun. I’ve ran through rivers and met Daniel Boone (the actor in a play in North Carolina). Now I have a week where I am staying at my great friend Mike’s house in North Carolina before I head up to New York to start the World Race. It’s been relaxing and a lot of fun. I am learning the basics of Arabic and that’s really exciting. I hope that with our time in a few countries that speak that language I will be able to at least understand the basics.
I hope you guys are doing well. I’m really excited and also curious to find out what this year has in store
