Memorable Moments

Month 1: Dominican Republic

– Morning worship on the side of the mountain, seeing open view of green mountain range.
– Planting my small wooden cross where I had my quiet time with the Lord, (signifying dying more to myself. I am determined not to lose a month on the race but to be fully engaged with everyone I am around).
– Jumping and playing in the pool during a down pour with the guys.
– Hugging a blind man with soiled and torn clothes, who was riddled with addictions. He lived down the street from our host.
– Walking down the beach with Renyee having a deep conversation about God and withstanding a faith crash.
– Seeing Anjelita come to the Lord!!!
– Killed and plucked a chicken! Blanco (Ministry Host Employee and friend) held them down.
– The hissing angry geese prowling around and scaring the women.
– Having Matt and Kristy’s (Loved friends and family back home) note speak deep life into me.
– Kristin smiling in the morning while serving our breakfast (Rice Pudding).
– Worshiping the second night next to Ryan and asking to see Jesus!! Powerful worship!
– Seeing Ruben (Our Ministry Host) being such a light to his community.
– Having a great talk with Kat and Taylor D (other women on my squad) on the trampoline.
– Seeing Hope’s (Our old squad mentor) connection with the Father. Deep in the prophetic.
– Connecting deep with Ryan. (My leader, brother, and most importantly loyal friend). Love him.

Month 2: Haiti

– Giving my full testimony to my team and them feeling closer to me.
– Playing soccer and basketball with the Haitian children (They are on another level!!).
– While painting a house, a boy used his roller drenched in paint and rolled it over my back. I waited for a moment and then painted his back, then we both just laughed!!
– Meeting a guy named Jimmy and sharing my testimony. We bonded a lot and he is really accepted by our squad. He broke some chains before he left! Great brother in Christ whom I love.
– Worshiping on the roof looking out over the ocean as the sun rises.
– Feeling the pleasure of God through His presence being poured out after I taught a group around 30 of Haitian teenagers. (16-20 years old, young adults).
– Meeting Jacobson, a ten year old Haitian boy. He loved Jesus and we prayed for one another. God rocked my heart for this kid. It was a hard goodbye.
– Seeing prophecies fulfilled. Before I left I received a few prophecies and the ones fulfilled so far is, teaching young adults, having my expectations popped, and God using my hands to heal people.
– The Spirit breaking out and spiritual chains being broken!! Uniting our squad even further!
– Learning the card game called Mafia (It’s like live action clue).
– Processing around 4-5 different things in my walk.
– Seeing a few guys nearly die from a bike accident before our eyes and shouting out in Creole “Jesus Loves You!!”.
– Connecting deep with a great amount of my squad.

Hope this gave more insight with my experiences on this journey! Love you all!!
