It has been a crazy month learning to adapt to the living situation we had and also living with the same 7 people for an entire month.  We all are very different from each other and things get intense sometimes.  Two of our members on our team felt called by God to shave their heads.  We totally backed them up in their choice.  But it lead to us getting kicked out of our ministry for the last 2 days and leaving town.  Our members were called "worse than non-believers" for doing this.  So we spent several nights in Chisnau at our friends apartment.  We got to enjoy Independence day for Moldova and a little more relaxed team bonding time when we were there.

I am really looking forward to Ireland next month.  We are going to be in Corelaine, Ireland as the entire squad.  It is going to be crazy all 50 of us together again but also refreshing.   We are in Kiev, Ukraine for about a week  for debrief before we fly out to Ireland.  We took a 16 hour train ride, then walked for 30 minutes in the rain and mud to get to our hostel.

I have never really been a writer or have too much to say but this blog is to feature my teammates who are great writers. Sarah's latest blog really sums up Moldova for us. Rachael and Cindy both have GREAT blogs that talk about this way more in depth and a video made coming shortly.

I have a bunch of photos on Facebook.  The World race albums are public so anyone can see them even if we are not "friends" on Facebook.     https://www.facebook.com/davidgarretson

Many of you might know that I was involved with a College Ministry in Kearney, NE known as Overflow.  I made a video to put on their Facebook wall to just say hi and welcome them back to Overflow since it recently started up again for the school year.  I thought I would just share it with this community as well.
