Sometimes we just flat out need God to show up. We make our own mistakes, life takes us through transitions or we often have to start all over again from scratch. The man Jacob found himself in this situation after he stole Esaus blessing and weaseled him to trading his birthright for a bowl of soup. Jacob was on the run and Esau was out to kill him. Jacob found himself literally in a land called Luz (loserville) There he laid down on the ground to rest in the middle of nowhere. This was an in between spot from where he was running from and where he was running to. But here God gave Him a miracle vision through a dream that said in (Genesis 48:4) behold I will make you fruitful and multiply your seed and give your seed a land to live and they will have a everlasting inheritance . Jacob woke up in the middle of Luz (loserville) with a vision and excitement. God literally gave him a vision in the middle of nowhere geographically and spiritually. Jacob renamed that place from Luz (loserville) to Bethel meaning the house of God. And Jacob said surely the Lord is in this place. (Genesis 28:16) He went from the middle of nowhere (loserville) to the house of God and gate to heaven.
Right now I’m in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know where to turn besides God. A terrifyingly wonderful place to be. When I left for the race I had loans and bills Im still paying off while I’m gone. I had plenty of money to do it. But since I left for the race circumstances at home came up that cost me 3800 dollars. Now I only have enough money to pay 3 more months of those payments. There is 5 more payments months of the race. I made these loan commitments before I committed to the race. So unless God shows up in the middle of nowhere I will be going home at the end of month 9. So also the people that cosigned these loans will not be in a bad situation.
I have to belive this was ordained by the sovereign will of GOD. I know the Lord is in this and I know God can show up in the middle of my nowhere.
