In order for me to be able to go on The World Race, I will need to raise $15,500. You may be thinking that this is a lot of money, or maybe that it is not that much for 11 months of income to travel around the world.
Where does the money go?
How are you going to live off of this for 11 whole months?
As a World Racer, the $15,500 is broken down by these categories…
- Training Camp–$320 – (Covers my cultural training before departure)
- Field Support–$620 – (Helping to get us supplies, local contacts, etc.)
- WR Development Program–$1,860 (Improvements and Developments)
- Administration Fees–$2,635 – (Processing, paying the staff who literally sets up all of our travel, meals, missions, etc.)
- World Racer–$10,075
As you can see, 65% of the funds that I will be raising go towards my expenses for the 11 months. Again, let me show you through a graph what this will look like.

My budget is broken down into these categories…
- Intercontinental Travel–$4,235.00
- Food–$1,256.25
- Lodging–$1,758.75
- Transportation–$1,005.00
- Long Distance Travel & Misc. Supplies–$1,115.55
However, this does not include other expences such as:
* International Insurance
* Daily $ to live on while on the Race
** $3-5 a day is all that we can live on
* Supplies needed for the WR
If your wondering how much $1 is in each country:
Chinese Yen = 6.35
Philippine peso = 43.48
Honduran Iempira = 19.05
Guatemalan quetzal = 7.81
Salvadoran colon = 8.75
Albanian lek = 112.36
Romanian leu = 3.61
Indian rupee = 56.18
Ugandan shilling = 2,500.00
Kenyan shilling = 86.96
Tanzanian shilling = 1,666.67
I know that God is calling me to go on the World Race. I know that He will provide. I hope that He might partially do that through you.
