Hey everyone!!
This is a little late on my ABOUT ME section.. But I figured better late than never.
i’m Darlene and I’m so excited to be a part of this plan God has!
I’m originally from Missouri, I grew up in a town of like 700-800 people.. we had one gas station, one car wash, one cafe, a few churches, and a wal-mart nearby where we would get our groceries.. a little town called CAIRO, MO. Yes, just like Cairo, Egypt except we pronounce it like K-ROW.. Not sure why.. but some things we will never understand.
I’m a physical therapist assistant, I travel… i move every three months to different cities and states to work as a temporary contractor. I love the lifestyle. I’ve so far lived in california, texas, and pennsylvania. I love helping people. It’s my passion.
I have a sister and a brother, the two loves of my life. They are my people and God has blessed me abundantly.
I have the best dad and step mother a girl could ask for, they’ve always given me everything I’ve ever asked for plus more. They are my rocks.
My mom is wonderful, she’s always been the lady i’ll seek advice from.. like anyone else, she’s made her mistakes but she’s on the REBOUND and I believe God has an amazing plan for her heart.
i have the best friend a girl could ask for. Seriously, some people say you don’t get your “true” friends till your old.. well I call bologna, she’s my girl and life wouldn’t be the same without her.
I have a wonderful extended family.. My grandma, my aunts and uncles.. whom i can ALWAYS call on for help.. especially thinking of my Uncle B and aunt deanna! 🙂
I have a few of the greatest friends a girl could ask for and SO much support from SO many different ex co-workers, bosses, friends from afar, and so many more.. I am SO thankful!!! <3
Can’t wait to begin this adventure and fulfill this path God has put me on.
