As I have traveled over the past 11 months I have been blessed to see multiple sunrise and sunsets. It has been amazing to see the beautifully painted sky glowing above so many varying places and landscapes.
One of my favorite sunrise experiences was watching the sun come up over the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary. I got up very early and hiked by myself to the top of the hill overlooking the city. As I sat and watched the orange sphere rise above the famed architecture of the city I was reminded of a beautiful truth of God’s faithfulness.
As the sun is faithful to rise each morning so is God faithful to show up in our lives each and everyday. Like the sun sometimes he shows up in brilliance of color and beauty. His warmth is fully felt and seen. Other days, however the sun’s brilliance is obscured by the clouds. Its is not seen nor felt and the world can seem cold and dreary. Regardless the sun is still there having faithfully risen. While it is not seen or felt its light still brightens the day. Even in the darkest of storms it is still present.
Like the sun God is faithful. He shows up everyday in our lives whether we sense it or not. Hold on to this truth and know God is with you today.
